The Esko Network License Manager is installed on a Mac and licenses have been activated. But the licenses cannot be accessed by the workstations.
Symptoms
Open the Network License Manager (NLM)
All the licenses show as activated and available but there is a message at the bottom of the window stating: "The License Server is down or not responding. Please restart the License Server".
When checking the Network License Manager log from within the Network License Manager by going to Help > Show License Server Log, you may see a message similar to this:

Solution
To check the name of your Mac, go to System Preferences > Sharing > and check the “Computer Name”.
Open a terminal window by going to Applications > Utilities > Terminal. The name that appears in the terminal window should match, exactly, the “Computer Name”.
If these do not match, reboot the Mac.
Once the Mac is rebooted, check to see if the names now match.
If the names still do not match, contact your IT department as this may be controlled at a network level and will require a network administrator to fix.
