KB168068036: PackEdge - Palettes open very small

Summary

When using PackEdge on a Mac running Parallels and open any palette, it opens very small and cannot be enlarged. It opens as a tiny square with just a red X.

Symptoms

Palettes opened in PackEdge running on Parallels on a Mac, show as a tiny square.

Solution

Running Parallels version 8 and version 9 can cause these palettes to open as a tiny window from time to time. Closing and re-opening PackEdge will resolve the issue (short-term). The long term solution is to upgrade to Parallels version 10.

It has also been suggested to put Parallels in coherence Mode but this does not always fix the issue.
