Description

This article describes how to disable a recalibration. The recalibration is an incremental procedure so it might be desired at a certain point to discard the existing recalibration and start with a new one.

Procedure

  1. Open the Color Engine Pilot.
  2. Double-click the Devices icon in the toolbar to open the Device Manager.
  3. Select the device you want to reset.
  4. Click the Set Profile... button and select <None>.
  5. Select OK when the message "Changing this profile will reset the recalibration. You can restore a recalibration using the 'Restore as Current' button." pops-up.

You have to select the profile again when you want to start the next recalibration.
  6. Say NO when the message "There is a recalibration available for this device. Do you want to restore this recalibration?" pops-up.
