KB171006450: i-cut Layout - The application freezes when numerous graphics are selected and edited

Summary

i-cut Layout freezes and stops working after selecting many graphics (holding the 'shift' key to select more than one), and then trying to change a value.

Symptoms

A particular job has 10's or 100's of graphics that will fit on the sheet.

Attempting the same on only a handful of graphics, for instance less than 10, does not lead to this problem.

Solution

In case the edit is for the Cut Path or the Bleed value, set it in the i-cut Layout Preferences > Defaults (tab):

The needed values are set immediately on importing the graphics to the document, so no manual edit is needed.
