Summary

Export to ArtPro file fails.

Symptoms

The following message is seen in the task log file:

ERROR: PDF Error: I/O Error
ERROR: Exception in pacifier.
ERROR: Error converting to ArtPro file <D:\OrderContainer\100\100005\job-orders\\A4.ap>
ERROR: Error saving to ArtPro file <D:\OrderContainer\100\100005\job-orders\A4.ap>

Solution

Problem is caused by Anti-Virus program (Sophos Endpoint Security) removing .PS files from the sub folders C:\Esko\bg_prog_fastserver_v141\dat\Resources

Do a repair of the Automation Engine Server part and exclude the folder \Esko\bg_prog_fastserver_v14x\dat\Resources\ from the Anti-Virus program.

Workaround

Copy the following files from another server running same version:

  1. C:\Esko\bg_prog_fastserver_v14x\dat\Resources\PDFSupport JobPrefix.ps
  2. All eight files from C:\Esko\bg_prog_fastserver_v14x\dat\Resources\PSLibrary
