KB173212410: Esko Studio Viewer - Studio Web Viewer is broken

Summary

Since recent upgrades to Java and browser technologies, the Studio Viewer web viewers on www.esko.com are no longer working!

Symptoms

1. When trying to access one of these Studio Viewer webpages in any browser on any Operating System, you'll first need to disable the protection of the browser to allow it to load the frame and the Java applet.
   
2. But even then, Java throws the following error message and fails to load:
   
   

Solution

There is a new desktop Studio viewer app, available in the Free Downloads section on www.esko.com.

Workaround

WebCenter users are suggested to use the new HTML5 viewer, that will continue to improve.

For now, we don’t plan a web-based 3D viewing experience for non-WebCenter users.
