Document upload in WebCenter can fail with an error in case the WebCenter disk space is (almost) full or if file upload limit in IIS is set to a low value.


File upload results in following error message:

"The resource you are looking for has been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable".


Follow these steps to resolve the issue:

  1. First, check whether the WebCenter servers are running out of disk space. You can do this by running the Troubleshooting Tool. Also see:  
  2. If there is enough disk space left, the likely cause of this error message is the file upload limit in IIS. By default, this is set to 30 MB. To change it, follow the steps described in the section on Extending the Upload Limit in the WebCenter Installation Guide and following KB article:
