Summary
This article is not directly related to any ArtiosCAD issue but explains how to fix Adobe® Acrobat® Reader settings to open PDF with 3D (PDF U3D) embedded created by ArtiosCAD with no warnings.
Symptoms
Latest versions of Acrobat® Reader doesn't open 3D PDF generated from ArtiosCAD due extra security check on trusted PDF documents.
Every 3D PDF must be trusted manually and the user should click on the page to enable the 3D view feature.
Solution
- Go to Acrobat® Reader Preferences.
- Then go to Security (Enhanced) and add at least the main Hard Drives from your computer to the list.
- Click OK, close and reopen your
PDF, the 3D must be loaded automatically.
