KB174671754: Automation Engine - Publish to WebCenter fails with System Error C0000094

Summary

Publish to WebCenter fails with "System Error C0000094" in case a custom view file generation ticket is used for a file containing higher resolution images.

Symptoms

The Automation Engine ticket Publish to WebCenter has the option to use a different view file generation ticket (by default a ticket called Create SoftProof for WebCenter). The task fails if the input PDF has external images that have a resolution higher than the settings under Compression in this ticket.

This affects all Export to PDF tickets, not just WebCenter.

Solution

This issue is resolved in Automation Engine 14.1.1..

Workaround

As a workaround, embed all external images.
