Summary

This KB describes a possible reason for jobs staying in the Proof Client queue with the status "Processing".

Symptoms

The job arrives in the Proof Client queue and stays in the queue with the status "Processing".

All incoming jobs are stuck with the same status.

In the Proof Server log you will see the following info for that particular job (when the debuglevel key is added to the SYS_0000.xml file).

Workaround

  1. Open the Proof Client and select the workflow which contains the job.
  2. Go to the Layout tab > Layout options.
  3. Enable the "Print jobs that exceed printable area" option.
