For Desktop applications: The software takes longer to launch or even does not launch and fails to start. The application process binary takes CPU continuously. Hanging application binaries can be loctstool.exe or other process binary taking CPU continuously (typically 10-15% cpu load).
For applications using network licenses: The Network License Manager does not launch and the esko.exe or eskoLMsrv.exe process or other proces binary takes CPU continuously.
When you update old software to the latest version, you may notice that the installer hangs.

This hotfix replaces previous hotfix 201704038 for LND 16.0.2.
Before and while you install the hotfix, check and close all applications and kill any process taking CPU continuously in Windows Task Manager.
If you do not do that, the installation of the hotfix may also hang. Do not kill the process binary tsreset_app.exe.
Open Windows® Explorer and double click the installer.
Click Yes to the question "Do you want to install the Esko Hotfix 2017-Q3-July-001?" and click Next to run the wizard.

What is a Hotfix?
A Hotfix is a software package that you can install on an existing installation of our software. Each hotfix contains fixes for one or more known issues in our released software.
Because there is always a small chance for a hotfix to cause new issues, you should only install Recommended Hotfixes, unless otherwise instructed by your Esko Software Support team.
