Items that are no longer linked to an XML and no longer appear in the Dynamic Content palette are still highlighted in the document as if they were still linked.

  1. Open a file that has or had Dynamic Content links to an XML file.
  2. Select one section or type or object that used to be linked to an XML file but has been expanded and thus is no longer linked.
  3. Notice in the Dynamic Content palette that nothing is indicated as being selected, although this line of type is still wrongly highlighted as being dynamic.

What is a Hotfix?

A Hotfix is a software package that you can install on an existing installation of our software. Each hotfix contains fixes for one or more known issues in our released software.

Because there is always a small chance for a hotfix to cause new issues, you should only install Recommended Hotfixes, unless otherwise instructed by your Esko Software Support team.
