Question

Pack Proof is supported with a range of proofing devices and media, what are the supported proofers?

Answer

Below is a list of supported Devices.

Terminology

  • Contract proofing refers to a proof intended for judgment of color as well as correctness of content
  • Dot proofing refers to a proof which shows a simulation of the halftone screen as well as a simulation of the color. The color is less accurate than contract proofing
  • Content proofing refers to a proof intended for checking correctness of content only (no judgement of color)

Follow the link contract proofing for more information on this topic. Pack Proof is the latest and greatest Esko solution for Contract proofing, when used with a suitable qualified proofer and media. You will find information on supported devices by following the link. In order that we can provide good support for color accurate proofing, only specified devices are supported.

For dot proofing, please refer to the same page as for contract proofing. The right media is critical to what can be achieved with dot proofing.

Follow the link content proofing for more information on this topic. As content proofing is not color critical, a much larger range of devices are supported.
