Summary
When working in the Studio plugins, the screen turns black. Also, the Refresh button doesn't work.
Symptoms
No 3D preview appears.
Solution
Try the below steps:
- Make sure to check the minimum Studio system requirement: a minimum of 512 MB of video memory is required. (Studio System Requirements - Product overview page)
- Check for the latest updates of the graphics card drivers and if required update them.
Updating your graphics driver can fix many issues, such as crashing, incorrectly rendered images, and performance problems. Get driver updates directly from the video card manufacturer:

Graphics drivers are updated via operating system updates. Make sure that you have the latest Mac OS updates by choosing Software Update from the Apple menu or via Updates in the App Store.
