Summary

Viewer Support for Microsoft Office files is not working correctly after upgrading to WebCenter 18.1.

Symptoms

After the upgrade, existing multi-page Excel and Word files cannot be viewed anymore. The Viewer displays the following message: “Error! Cannot read image parameters for file”.

New Excel and Word files get rendered normally but the Viewer displays the same message: “Error! Cannot read image parameters for file”.
