In very specific circumstances, tasks may fail unexpectedly when Automation Engine is under heavy load.


Heavy workflows running multiple files may run into errors. Tasks fail with 'BGM_ETryAgain' error recorded in the log file.

Whilst the vast majority of the files run successfully, occasionally it is seen that a task fails. Relaunching the task will result in success (so not a result of a bad/corrupt file or incorrect task configuration).

What is a Hotfix?

A Hotfix is a software package that you can install on an existing installation of our software. Each hotfix contains fixes for one or more known issues in our released software.

Because there is always a small chance for a hotfix to cause new issues, you should only install Recommended Hotfixes, unless otherwise instructed by your Esko Software Support team.
