KB312278007: DeskPack - DeskPack Container is Read Only

Summary

When opening Adobe Illustrator on a Mac that has DeskPack configured you get a message that the DeskPack Container is Read Only

Symptoms

1. Open Adobe Illustrator
2. A window opens stating the DeskPack Container is Read Only
3. Checking the permissions on the DeskPack container mount it shows everyone has "read and write" access
4. You can copy files to and from the share

Solution

On Mac:

1. Open the System Preferences > Security and Privacy > Files and Folders 
2. Give Adobe Illustrator access to both the Network Volumes and Desktop Folder
   
   
   
3. Unmount all shares and restart Adobe Illustrator
