When you activate or de-activate an Esko license on a Local License Manager or a Network License Manager, you get the following error:
Exception: Could not connect to activation server.
Internal Error Message: Error 35: Unknown SSL protocol error in connection to licensingservices.esko.com:443
or Exception: Could not connect to activation server. Internal Error Message: Error occurred in transport
Solution
To troubleshoot this issue, you can choose between following options:
Upgrade of License Manager - Upgrade your Local or Network License Manager to a higher version (at least version 16.0.0). You can find these in the "Archived" section on mysoftware.esko.com - Activate/de-activate the license again
