Summary

Cause

The Automation Engine Pilot does not remember the user name and server name because the bg.properties file is not copied to the folder /Applications/Automation Engine Client 12.0.1 as it is a read-only folder.

Solution

The bg.properties file must be in the /Applications/Automation Engine Client 12.0.1 folder. This folder needs to have read and write permissions for all users.
