So make sure that you always check the Esko system requirements before you:

Buy new hardware.
Install software.
Upgrade software.

In case of Automation Engine: don't forget to check the system requirements for the Automation Engine Client as well!

On the Esko website: go to www.esko.com > Software System Requirements (at the right side of the page) and select the related product and version.
Or click here to see the list.

The requirements listed are the absolute minimum for each software version. If your computer has higher/faster/better specifications, you're good to go!
