Summary

After you receive temporary/ trial or permanent license for the new screens (can be new screendots or special screens like Samba, HD Flexo, ...), how to add these new screens in the screens list (in the Dispatcher or Imaging Engine / FlexRip ticket)?

Cause

Even after activating the license for the new screen(s), you still don't see the new screens available. That's because you need to re-install the Screen Data.

Solution

Please follow the steps given below:

FlexRip

  1. Activate the license with the new screen(s) in the Network License Manager.
  2. On the FlexRip, insert the Imaging Engines installer media and click Extra.
  3. Click the Re-install the FlexRip Screen Data 1.0 component link and follow the instructions.
  4. The installer will check the license and update the new screens, if any were recently activated.

Imaging Engine

  1. Activate the license with the new screen(s) in the Network License Manager.
  2. On the Automation Engine Server, mount the Automation Engine ISO and click Extra.
  3. Click the Re-install the Imaging Engine Screen Data link and follow the instructions.
  4. The installer will check the license and update the new screens, if any were recently activated.
