After upgrading to Nexus RIP 10.1.2, GMG ColorProof can no longer read angle and ruling information from our TIFF files.
Cause
The tag number describing the angle and ruling information within the TIFF file is changed. GMG used this tag number to extract and use the angle and ruling information.
In previous Nexus versions we used tag 37711 for the angle and ruling information, but this was no longer sufficient to drive the CDI in an optimum way. Hence we replaced it with tag 37713 which contains more information and is more useful for the CDI.
Solution
GMG needs to change their code to use tag 37713.
Workaround
Revert to the previous version of NexusRIP until GMG updates their software.
