Does i-cut Layout take advantage of multi-core processors?

Answer

i-cut Layout (like all other BRIX based applications) is not really built to take advantage of multiple processors. However, this does not mean an i-cut Layout user does not benefit from multiple cores - this allows to balance the editor process(es) and all other processes running on your machine (example: Windows).

There is a global setting available in My Computer > Properties allowing to balance between interactive programs and services but in general, the balancing is taken care at the Windows level – not aware of any relevance of the Windows version.
