Summary
Fast Calibrator Curves can only be opened with the application FastCalibrator. But FastCalibrator can only be started on the Mac with OS9 installed.
Old existing FastCalibrator Curves cannot be opened in SymphonyCalibrator.
How to get the values to create a new SymphonyCalibrator Curve?
Solution
Because the FastCalibrator Curves cannot be opened in SymphonyCalibrator, we can only have a Workaround to load them as Bump Curve (direct) in a PDF
or PS
Rip WF to get the values.
Workaround
PDF
Rip:
- Enable Screening: Workflow Control in the Rasterise Separations Module.
- Loading the Curve in the Module Rasterise Separations > Set Symphony Control > PrePress: Bump Curve (direct).
- Click Curves in the Rasterise Separations Module behind the Separations.
- These values can be entered in a new SymphonyCalibrator Curve.
PS
Rip:
- Enable Screening: PPD Option Control in the Assemble Separation Module.
- Loading the Curve in the Assemble Separation Module > Set Symphony Control > PrePress: Bump Curve (direct).
- Click Curves in the Assemble Separation Module behind the Separations.
- These values can be entered in a new SymphonyCalibrator Curve.
