When processing PDF files with embedded RGB images using the "Prepare Graphics for Nesting" task, you might encounter color differences in the output file compared to the input file.

Solution

This is an expected behavior in Automation Engine 12.1 due to unintended functionality in the ticket. RGB values are converted on-the-fly to CMYK. The solution is to upgrade to Automation Engine 12.1.1. The functionality of the ticket has been changed and so the RGB images are no longer converted to CMYK images.
