Summary

License cannot be activated or deactivated on Mac OS X 10.9.

Symptoms

After the update to Mac OS X 10.9 (Mavericks), it is no longer possible to activate or deactivate licenses when using the License Manager 12.1.1 or older. The following error appears: 

Exception: Internal error. Please restart the application. 
Internal error message: Major error code 1, minor error code 41044, system error code 0.

This hotfix solves issues with license activation only, other Esko software might also not work as expected but this can be verified via the system requirements. Please refer to this article for more information:

What is a Hotfix?
