Can the e-mail address of the task owner, hence the value of the Task Owner E-mail SmartName, be specified in Automation Engine?


Yes, it can be specified.

The value of the Task Owner E-mail SmartName is the e-mail address of the user/operator that launched the task.

To change the e-mail address of a user, do the following:

  1. In the Automation Engine Pilot, go to the Users view or go to Tools > Users.
  2. Double-click the user. The dialog with the properties of the user will pop up.
  3. In the General tab, click the Change button next to the E-mail Address field.
  4. Enter the Email Address and click Apply.
