KB87957332: ArtiosCAD - How to create customized line type

Description

Apart from the preexisting line types, you can create customized line types.

Procedure

By default, you see the options to select the line type as cut or crease and you can insert the other preloaded line types by selecting the Others… option in the Current line type drop-down menu.

You can also add customized line types by following the procedure given below:

1. Go to Options > Defaults.
2. In the Defaults window, scroll down and locate Special rule types.
3. Right click the Special rule types and create a new folder with a unique name (for e.g.: New line type).
   
4. In the contextual menu of the newly created folder and go to New > click Data and name it as you desire.
5. Double click the Data file and modify according to your requirement.

6. Click Apply and OK after modifying the data.
