KB95784352: ArtiosCAD - How to copy browser configuration from one computer to another

Description

Instructions on how to copy browser configuration from one computer to another in ArtiosCAD Enterprise edition.

Procedure

In defaults Browser Settings/General Information page you can set up or change browser settings:

1. Number of search items per page. This number is used when performing project search, document search, displaying Favorite Projects, Projects I managed, Projects I am Invited To, All Projects, Saved Searches results. This number is not used when returning Projects On My Computer, My Locked Documents. If you change this number while the Browser is already opened, the change will not take effect until the next search is started by the user.
2. Search type: Projects, All Documents, Designs, Manufacturing or ArtiosCAD 3D.
3. Set Document list columns. In defaults you can select columns to display and change column names.
4. Number of most recent modified projects. This number controls how many projects will be displayed in Recent Projects tree node.
5. Icon size for thumbnails in Documents list.
6. Show or Hide document details and preview.
7. Show or hide Bill of Materials under every project.
8. Initialize Open Browser project selection. Should Browser initialize with Recent Projects node or Current Directory node. 

Inside the Browser, you can dynamically change the following settings: 

1. Control's size by using horizontal and vertical re-size bars.
2. Change Browser dialog size and position or use maximum size.
3. Changed Documents list column size, order, names and select different columns. Right-click on header in list control allows opening Columns Customization dialog to select or deselect displayed columns. You can drag column size in header or change column order by clicking on column in header and dragging it along the header to new position.
4. Search type: Projects, All Documents, Designs, Manufacturing or ArtiosCAD 3D.
5. Icon size for thumbnails in Documents list.
6. Show or Hide document details and preview.

After the Browser is running, all Browser settings are saved on the local computer and restored whenever the user runs the browser on this machine.

If a user uses a different computer and would like to use the same browser settings he is accustomed to: 

1. On computer normally used by the user:
   1. Start ArtiosCAD Enterprise, Open Browser, make sure that browser is displayed as you would like to see it on another computer. If needed adjust Browser configuration to your liking.
   2. Under View menu, select Save Browser Configuration.
2. On a different computer, logging to the same server using the same account:
   1. On the different computer, start same version of ArtiosCAD Enterprise. Log on to the same server as the same user.
   2. Open Browser. Under View menu, select Load Browser Configuration.
