KB164889293: WebCenter - Error "Problem in initializeWcTaskExecutionPage() function: ReferenceError: gBOMEnabled is not defined"

Summary

In some cases after a WebCenter upgrade, an error may be displayed when trying to access the Task Execution Page, or when trying to complete a Task. This issue can be resolved by clearing your browser cache.

Symptoms

• The following error message is displayed: "Problem in initializeWcTaskExecutionPage() function: ReferenceError: gBOMEnabled is not defined".
•  It is not possible to complete the task.

Solution

This issue mostly occurs after upgrading WebCenter, due to a conflict between cache of the previous and the recent version. The solution is to empty the cache of your browser.
