When opening certain designs, the following warning pops up:
When the following warning pops up, you have to click OK and the design turns 90 degrees.
Flute/Grain Warning:Flute direction (Corrugated), or Grain direction
Design is x (position).
Default is y (position).
Design will be rotated 90.
Even if you turn the design manually again or change the flute/grain direction and save the file, after reopening it, the same warning reappears and turns your design.
If you don't want this behavior, follow the below instructions.
This warning is controlled by a setting in your Preferences (Defaults).
First go to Design Defaults > Default board > check the board that is selected by default.
Then, go to Single design parameter sets > choose the concerned folder and board, as configured in Default board > Startup Defaults > Flute/grain and change the settings as given below:
Choose the Use as is radio button in the Options on restore section.
Uncheck the Warn if it differs from default checkbox.
Save the changes in your defaults and open your design again. The warning won't pop up anymore.
An incorrect modification of values and parameters in the ArtiosCAD Defaults can cause critical problems that might lead to severe problems in the correct functioning of the program. Esko cannot guarantee the proper working of your ArtiosCAD installation due to an incorrect handling of parameters and settings. A reinstall might be mandatory in order to restore the original system state. For this reason, Esko recommends that you take regular backups of the ServerLib (Shared Defaults) folder, the database and the FileStore.
