KB185611752: Color Engine Pilot - Measurement error: 'One or more of the parameters is out of range'

This KB describes how to get rid of the measurement error "One or more of the parameters is out of range".

Symptoms

You can get this measurement error when measuring an overprint chart like the first chart (test chart) of the Check & Recalibrate procedure.

The i1 will go to the first patch but then returns immediately to the white calibration tile of the iO table. In the C&R tool you will get the error "One or more of the parameters is out of range".

Workaround for Color Engine Pilot 12.x and 14.x

1. Close Color Engine Pilot
2. Disconnect the USB and power cable
3. Reconnect the USB and power cable

Upgrade to Color Pilot 16.1.1
