KB158209715: ArtiosCAD Standard Edition - How to copy toolbars positions from one computer to another?

Description

Instruction on how to copy tool-bars positions from one computer to another for Standard Edition of ArtiosCAD.

Procedure

Follow the steps given below to copy Design tool-bars  positions from one computer to another for Standard Edition of ArtiosCAD:

1. On the computer you would like to copy tool-bars position from start ArtiosCAD, in File Menu select New Design or restore existing design file. 

   

2. In View Menu select Save Toolbars Configuration
   

3. Open Registry Editor.

4. Expend HKEY_CURRENT_USER, there expand Software/Artios/ArtiosCAD.

5. Select Toolbars Design Save key

   

6. In File Menu select Export
   

7. Select Directory and File name where information will be saved.
   
   
8. On another computer, copy the saved file.
   
   
9. Open Registry Editor
   
   
10. In File menu select Import, select the file you saved from another computer.
    
    
11. After successful import, start ArtiosCAD, open new design.
    
    
12. In View Menu select Restore Toolbars Configuration
    
    
13. Restart ArtiosCAD.

Now tool-bars will be always shown in the same positions as on computer they were copied from.

To copy Manufacturing tool-bars position repeat above steps but use "New Manufacturing" or restore manufacturing file and select "Toolbars Mfg Save" registry key.

To copy Counter Layout tool-bars position repeat above steps but use "New Counter Layout" or restore counter layout file and select "Toolbars Ctl Save" registry key.

To copy 3D tool-bars position repeat above steps but use "New 3D" or restore 3D file and select "Toolbars 3D Save" registry key.
