Why can't I use my Esko software when logging to a Windows computer via RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol)?
Answer
Esko software that uses local licenses is not designed to be used by multiple users via the RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol) service from Microsoft.
As such, local licenses cannot be checked when you are logged in via RDP. So it looks like there is no license for the software. The work-around is not to use RDP to login, and use the software on the console of the local computer where it is installed.
Named User Subscriptions
Named user subscriptions are using local licenses in the background, so the same restriction applies.
In case you are using network licenses, it is possible to use RDP for your products using network licenses only.
