Summary

Color Pilot - Check and Recalibrate - Message - Could not get mounted hot folder.


Symptoms

Color Pilot installed on a client computer. Attempting to Check and Recalibrate the proofer.

Color Pilot client PC logged on as a user not known to the PC that contains the Proof Server software.

Solution

Authenticate user.

To Authenticate,

  1. On the client PC with Color Pilot, click in the search field.
  2. In the Search box, type \\<PC name> (replace <PC name> with the PC name of the Proof Server).
  3. If you are asked for a username and password, use a known user for the Proof Server PC. Example - bgsystem (or your Automation Engine system account)
    Make sure you click the Remember password option.

  4. If this user's password changes every month, you will need to authenticate after the password change.
