Summary

The Create Job task fails with the following error: "Problem occurred creating the Job. (BG_EException Problem creating folder for job.)".

Symptoms

The following error "Problem occurred creating the Job. (BG_EException Problem creating folder for job.)" appears in Automation Engine and the Create Job task fails.

Solution

Check the settings in the Automation Engine Pilot > Tools > Configure > Jobs > Smart Job Location. If that is empty, then Automation Engine cannot determine the location where the job folder must be created.

Set up Customer specific locations, Rules and more general "Container" settings, to determine the location where the job folder must be created.
