What are the supported browsers and Java Versions related to my WebCenter version and the Java applets it uses.

This is a live document and will be adjusted when necessary. At this time of writing 100% confirmed tests have only been made for Operating Systems, browsers and Java versions mentioned

How can you install it?
In WebInstance.zip, we have included a .txt file with the instructions to install it on WebCenter.

What happens if you don’t use the patch?
On WebCenter (12.0) you won’t be able to open the collada viewer and the workflow applet. The reason of this problem is the new Java version (version 7 update 21) which affect PC and Mac.
If you try to open this features without this patch you will see the following error message: "Error in building: access denied ("java.lang.RuntimePermission" "accessClassInPackage.com.sun.org.apache.xerces.internal.jaxp")"
Mac remarks
For Lion and Mountain Lion, Chrome no longer supports Java applets on Mac 10.7 & 10.8.
