KB79698684: ArtiosCAD - Error Message "Unable to save the following program tree through renaming."

Summary

While trying to install ArtiosCAD, you encounter a problem and the following error message appears:

Unable to save the following program tree through renaming.

..\Esko\bg_prog_egsis_v010

The program directory is probably selected as current directory by an application or has open applications or files in it.

Symptoms

You may encounter this error due to one or more of the following reasons:

• Logged in user doesn't have Administrator rights.
• Specific folder doesn't have Read and Write access.

Solution

In this case, the error message notifies the folder path which is causing the issue:

• Go to the Esko folder Properties.
• Click the Security tab.
• Click the Users and check if Read and Write permissions are allowed. If not, Edit the settings and allow the Read and Write permissions for the Users to fix this issue.
