Symptoms
When installing Esko software on Windows, you get the following warning message:
WARNING: The Automation Engine 12.2 Client software is NOT supported on this Windows operating system. The installation procedure will be aborted.
Solution
Check your software version and check the compatibility in the System Requirements page:

- Update to Windows XP SP3
Workaround
- Right-click the installer and choose Properties.
- Go to the Compatibility tab and uncheck the Compatibility mode check box.
