Summary

In Automation Engine Pilot, when you select a file and search for the New Task option in the contextual menu, New Task is not available. Only Launch with option is available, even though the user has full administrator rights.

Symptoms

In Automation Engine Pilot, when you select a file and search for the New Task option in the contextual menu, New Task is not available. Only Launch with option is available, even though the user has full administrator rights.

Solution

  1. In the Automation Engine Pilot, go to Edit > Preferences.
  2. Uncheck the Show only Public Parameters in Tickets checkbox.

The New Task option will now be visible in the contextual menu.
